Description of the job

A vacancy for a Digital Services Sales Director (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Blagnac.

The successful applicant will join the SLCE - Sales Airline Applications department based in Toulouse.

In the very exciting time of the Digital Transformation of our company and the ignition of the market with new services and solutions we are opening this new position within the Airbus Customer Services Sales. You will be in charge of sales activities of the Digital Services and Products being it the legacy standalone e-solutions or the tailored and integrated IT solutions and services (Skywise, Smarter Fleet, Crosslogbook, AIrTHM, etc.).

You will be accountable for:
¤ Providing timely and reliable up-to-date information about your customers and ongoing campaigns.
¤ Ensuring the products developed are in line with customer expectations
¤ Building innovative commercial strategy on which recommendations can be made for senior management decisions.
¤ Identifying the commercial elements key for airline decision-making process and a successful negotiation. Anticipating risks and issues which may affect Airbus' business objectives.
¤ Leading and ensuring effectively the sale of Airbus products with the best financial result possible or, in the event that the sale is lost, minimum economic benefit to our competition.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include developing a thorough and intimate knowledge of your assigned sales accounts:
¤ Establish regular contacts and develop confident relationships at all levels of the customers;
¤ Identify the key factors in the airline decision making process and develop product and customer marketing concepts, tactics and incentives to influence the customers' evaluation of the Airbus offer accordingly;
¤ Close coordination and clear communication lines with other business unit sales forces but also with the internal stakeholders, especially those who face customers.
¤ Lead and Conduct sales campaigns to a successful end:
> Plan sales and sales-related activities in line with priorities, objectives and timescales established by management;
> Develop innovative sales packaging approach, with the aim of optimizing the efficiency and profitability of the deal proposed for both parties benefit.
> Anticipate risks and issues which may affect sales campaigns.
