Description of the job

A vacancy for an Industrial IT Operation specialist (m/f) has arisen within Airbus in Toulouse. You will join the Digital Workplace team, focusing on ensuring proper computer and software operations and assistance to end users of all the manufacturing and shop floor activities.

You will have the opportunity to work on the deployment and support of new tools and technologies enabling better cross functional collaboration, improved productivity, and eventually providing a foundational step for the digital transformation of Airbus. In this role you will:

o Develop, validate, provide and supports Industrial and customized solutions and services,
o Build relationships with the local business to provide insight into business priorities and align deliverables with maximum business value,
o Control and propose axes of improvement in order to guarantee the availability and the good performance of implemented solutions,
o Ensure coordination of the service delivery guaranteeing the service level agreements,
o Contribute to the industrial & customized daily operations and support projects.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

o Deliver End-to-End products and services in line with the business priorities to provide maximum value to the internal customers,
o Develop new solutions and services based on business needs, IM strategy, IM organization, cost-efficiency to maximize the value for the internal customers,
o Define, manage and control short, medium and long-term cost efficiencies for industrial and customized services,
o Manage business escalations and ensure effective communication with business when in crisis mode,
o Engage improvement actions to ensure customers satisfaction on time, on costs and on quality,
o Implement effective and reactive processes to ensure service delivery,
o Coordinate the entry into service of new features, processes and infrastructure,
o Ensure the day-to-day operations of End user device products and services provided by Industrial and customized services,
o Manage day to day onsite compliance for health and safety and onsite Airbus rules and guidelines.

This role will involve some travel for business once a month in Europe and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company's success, reputation and sustainable growth.

Required skills

You will have the following skills and experience:

o Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in IT or a related discipline
o A minimum of 3 years of work experience in help desk or desk side support, ideally in engineering manufacturing,
o ITIL Knowledge,
o Previous experience in leading/working with suppliers/different stakeholder,
o Good communication and listening skills,
o Adaptability and open-minded,
o Customer service oriented,
o Problem solving skills and solution focused,
o Language Skills: Negotiation level of English and French.
