The Dow Chemical Company is looking for a Technical Technical Sales Representative (TSR) in Polyurethane Systems., DowDuPont (NYSE: DWDP) is a holding company comprised of Dow and DuPont with the intent to form strong, independent, publicly traded companies in agriculture, materials science and specialty products sectors that will lead their respective industries through productive, science-based innovation to meet the needs of customers and help solve global challenges.
You will be responsible for managing current and developing potential customers to achieve sales goals in your assigned territory, in support of the business strategy and marketing plan. The assigned territory is France and Benelux. You will take the responsibility of a portfolio of customers for the technical and sales function, for Polyurethane Systems applications in Industrial Markets (handling the sales process, product development and technical support) You will also be in charge of the development of your market segment by gaining new clients, introducing new products, and taking initiatives on market development. Finally, you will be expected to anticipate market needs and act as an in house expert maintaining a broad competitive intelligence for your territory and market segment. You will also be involved in defining the strategy in order to consolidate and develop our market position., * Technical relationships with the customers, direct coordination of trials to homologate new systems or to optimize existing systems. * Development of new formulation for customers * Management of sales projects to increase your revenues and profit * Management of revenue, margin, sales forecast, past due monitoring, credit, rebates agreement,etc… * Strong liaison with the sales peers, R/D & Marketing organization, with the ability to work in a team and to collaborate across the business and its functions.
* Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical engineering or equivalent * Min 3/5 years' experience in sales combined with a technical background * Fluency in French, Dutch and English * Experience of driving sales development within your market segments * Commercial management of a portfolio of customers
