Description of the job

Its Business development, Sales & Marketing department is looking for a Business Development and Sales manager (M/F).

The jobholder will have to :

* Identify and assess the opportunities of sales according ABA strategic objectives
* Promote ABA products to maximize the added value for our customers, and develop our business, regionally and internationally.
* Negotiate winning commercial agreements according to the strategy of ABA
* Establish selling strategies as well as winning tactics for every call for tenders
* Manage the CRM, which also includes: maintaining strong knowledge of products, pricing and competition, to facilitate successful business activity
* Develop and manage business partnerships.
* Build sustainable commercial relationships and quality links with clients (leaders , managers, and /or people of influence … )

The jobholder reports directly to the Head of Business Development.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and activities will include:

General:
* Participating to development strategy and targets objectives.
* Identifying, following-up and securing business opportunities within the Airbus Group perimeter and externally
* Developing a sales strategy and sales plan to achieve given targets
* Leading , coordinating and drumbeating of replies to call for tenders/proposals together with AirBusiness Academy internal resources and external partners
* Managing good relationship with customers by ensuring regular meetings , follow up…
* Closely working with Faculty members to reinforce product knowledge to be able to provide consultancy to customers and to sell ABA products,
* Closing deals and achieving sales targets

With Airbus Group:
* Promoting and proposing ABA products to the complete community of Airbus Group, in order to position ABA as a Tier one supplier, in learning solutions activities.
* Developing relationships with Airbus Group internal stakeholders (e.g. Procurement, Marketing & Sales, Customer Service) to promote AirBusiness Academy services for external clients
* Establishing sustainable commercial business relations with the Airbus Group Learning Center (AGLC) within the given scope of learning domains

With external Clients:
* Developing and managing Key Accounts
* Acting as focal point with our externs customers for any commercial activities
* Growing share of external business
* Developing business in new market segments (e.g. Airbus supply Chain, Extended Enterprise, Airbus JVs & Subs)

With external Partners:
* Identifying, developing and managing relationships with partners in line with company strategy

Negotiating and Contracting
* Negotiate pricing in line with commercial policy and profitability targets
* Establish and negotiate frame contracts with major accounts
* Ensure waterproof contracting and facilitate commercial process from training agreement creation to invoicing
* Lead and drum beat profitability studies of major businesses and follow-up thereof
* Ensure that contractual terms and conditions are applied and developed further

Networking and Customer Interface:
* Representation of AirBusiness Academy towards clients
* Promotion and presentation of AirBusiness Academy during exhibitions and fairs
* Promoting the activity through networking,
* Initiating, developing relationships and working closely with clients to understand their needs and to explore opportunities for growth,
* Develop and strengthen quality relationships with managers and decision makers within current client network and beyond

Major end results :

* Achieved sales and profitability targets.
* Achieved AirBusiness Academy common targets
* Sustainable business relationships with existing and new clients
* Long-term business contracts
* Partner network in-line with Business strategy

This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company's success, reputation and sustainable growth.

Required skills

As the successful candidate, you should be able to demonstrate the following skills and competencies:

* Advanced degree in Marketing and Sales domains and/or related field of study.
* Minimum 7-10 years of successful aeronautic experience, with 5+ years in one of the followings domains: sales, direct marketing, market research…
* Dynamic leader known for sales acumen, customer focus, strategic vision and ability to influence, creative force and enabler of customer development.
* Strong analytical capacities to discern the development issues of our current clients or of new clients.
* Strong experience in writing, in negotiation and pursuant to commercial contracts, preferably in the aircraft industry;
* Proactive, autonomous, resourceful, inquisitive, profile and ability to work with a strong team spirit.
* Excellent communication, presentation, networking abilities, and interpersonal skills
Additional requirements and information:
* English and another language Negociation level required, spoken and written. French language would be an asset.
* You are inclined to travel for business and have the necessary availability.
